North Carolina 2008 Qualifiers

State Qualifiers will guarantee a minimum of 3-4 games.
Most Teams will receive 4+ scheduled games.
Pool Play/Bracket Play format
Teams participating in YBOA Invitationals will earn points that will determine seedings for YBOA State Qualifiers.
Click on the tournament title to obtain an entry form.
Print the form and mail to the address provided.

ENTRY DEADLINES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER THE LISTED DEADLINES MAY BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST.

The following check-in instructions will be used in all of the qualifiers listed below:

All teams must check in at playing site 1 hour prior to their first scheduled game.

During check-in teams will be required to show the following:

1) a copy of the team roster (YBOA player registration form is acceptable)
that you submitted with your entry to the qualifier.

This roster will be retained by the tournament host and
will be forwarded to the D-I or D-II State Championship sites.

Players that participate in the qualifier will be designated at check-in
and will be the ONLY players eligible to play in the D-I or D-II State Championship tournaments.

Rosters may not be changed for the State Championship tournaments. **

**Players who are injured, sick or unavailable to participate during the qualifier will be eligible to play in the State Championship tournaments
if they are on the roster that is presented and retained at the qualifier.

2) players birth certificates
(Department of Records Document ONLY (photocopies of these documents are acceptable)-
(Mother's Copies are not acceptable)

Note: (The following applies to Boys Teams only)
Grade Exception Players must present a completed YBOA Grade Exception Form
(signed by a school administrator) and a copy of the player's most current report card at check-in.

3) proof that the players are YBOA registered
(completed Player Registration Form stamped paid by the National Office)
Players must be registered prior to the start of the event.
Player Registrations will not be accepted at Check-In.

4) proof that ALL bench personnel are members of the
YBOA Coaches and Officials Asssociation
(should have coaches and officials membership cards or
be able to provide proof that application is in process).

5) proof that your club or team has current YBOA Association Membership
(should have an association number or be able to
provide proof showing that application is in process).

Teams not complying with the above check-in procedures will be given
a 1 game grace period to correct any check-in problems.

Failure to correct check-in problems will result in forfeiture of games.
