Tournament Play Format
IN ORDER TO PLAY IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT, TEAMS MUST
HAVE PARTICIPATED AND RECEIVED A BID AT THE STATE QUALIFIER.ENTRY DEADLINES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER THE LISTED DEADLINES
MAY BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST.
The following check-in instructions will be used in all of the tournaments listed below:All teams must check in 1 hour prior to their first scheduled game.
During check-in teams will be required to show the following:
1) players birth certificates
(Department of Records Document ONLY (photocopies of these documents are acceptable)-
(Mother's Copies are not acceptable)Note: (The following applies to Boys Teams only)
Grade Exception Players must present a completed YBOA Grade Exception Form
(signed by a school administrator) and a copy of the player's most current report card at check-in.Click here to obtain a YBOA Grade Exception form
2) proof that the players are YBOA registered
(completed Player Registration Form stamped paid by the National Office)
This form was turned in at your qualifier and will be used to check your team in for this tournament.
No changes are allowed to be made to your roster for this event.3) proof that ALL bench personnel are members of the
YBOA Coaches and Officials Asssociation
(should have coaches and officials membership cards or
be able to provide proof that application is in process).4) proof that your club or team has current YBOA Association Membership
(should have an association number or be able to
provide proof showing that application is in process).Teams not complying with the above check-in procedures will be given
a 1 game grace period to correct any check-in problems.Failure to correct check-in problems will result in forfeiture of games.
